SP ONE | Sean Perry

Built for Sean Perry, vocalist, guitarist and founding member of The Four Horsemen,

SP ONE was conceived as a dedicated professional stage instrument, developed around Sean’s playing style, tuning and performance requirements.

The instrument features an extended 26.5 inch scale, chosen to provide increased stability and definition in D Standard tuning while maintaining a familiar and comfortable playing feel. A lightweight Swamp Ash body is paired with a Mahogany neck and Gaboon Ebony fingerboard, creating a responsive instrument with strong articulation, controlled low frequencies and excellent note definition.

The neck incorporates a double action truss rod and carbon fiber reinforcement rods, providing additional rigidity and long term stability. The 16 inch fingerboard radius and 24 Jescar stainless steel Jumbo frets were selected for a fast, precise playing surface suited to both rhythm and lead work.

For the tremolo system, SP ONE is equipped with a Gotoh 1996T, combined with Hipshot locking tuners. The pickup configuration consists of DiMarzio DP159FBK and DP156BB humbuckers, controlled through a deliberately simple Master Volume wiring layout, keeping the instrument direct and intuitive on stage.

Blue illuminated fiber optic side markers provide excellent visibility under low stage lighting, while Mother of Pearl markers complement the otherwise restrained visual treatment.

Beyond its specifications, SP ONE was developed as a complete instrument rather than an adaptation of an existing model. Its body geometry, proportions and headstock were designed as part of the same visual language, giving the guitar a distinctive identity while remaining focused on ergonomics, balance and professional stage use.

The result is an instrument built around Sean’s requirements, combining extended scale performance, structural stability and a clean, immediately recognizable design.
