Antonio - Blade

Some time ago it was just an idea I wanted to translate into reality, thus Antonio-Blade was born.
Inspired by the Gibson SG model, I tried to build something different, another geometry, a different kind of an instrument.
The body of the guitar is made up of a single piece of mahogany, the neck from two pieces of mahogany (so it is more durable and resonant) with long tenon and the fretboard is made of Madagascar rosewood. I used unbleached bone nut, scale 24,75″, Jescar XJ frets, radius 12″.

The guitar was hand made and the finish is nitrocellulose type.

I built this for a great artist and good friend, Costi Sandu.
